A stunning engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, the ring centers on a glittering Old European Cut diamond held within a box setting. The gorgeous diamond has H/I color and VS1 clarity, catching the light beautifully. The split shank shoulders feature four diamonds and two French Cut sapphires on each side in a diagonally symmetric fashion. Swirling wirework fills the ring's gallery and it is completed by a geometrically engraved tapered band (stamped "◇IRID-PLAT Σ" inside). The ring was appraised in January of 2022 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $18,700. The sapphires are a wonderful accent to this stunning ring, making this a perfect engagement ring for a woman with timeless yet unique style!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 7 but can easily be resized. When worn, the ring rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are intact and securely set.
